Super sleepy but I haven’t packed = super slack

It was the look in his eyes as he held my hand. The taste of alcohol still fresh and the vulgar smell from the scent of his breath.
He’s been drinking a fair while.

He kissed my hand and told me about the future. As bright as he set it out w a slur of words.
I couldn’t help but hold my breath and not believe a word he said.

He’s told one too many white lies in his time. This just being another.

And like every other girl, one day, this will all be a distant memory we can reminisce upon.
